I am studying for a Master’s degree in International Business Development and am
looking to carry out an internship period outside France. I have decided to do
this in an international company and am interested in acquiring experience in the
organization of an international company.
I am writing to apply for a five to six-month internship, from September 2012 to February 2013, in the Sales
or Marketing department. It should enable me to put into practice the
skills I have learnt so far, especially in the sales and marketing fields,
while perfecting my English. This internship would also be an opportunity for
me to learn about a different business culture and way of life.
The main objectives are to learn the language and discover foreign culture, take an active part in the Sales or Marketing
department’s operations, contact
potential customers and follow up leads. It is very important for me to
become familiar with the organization and the management in a company.
I know how to carry out a market study, competitor
survey and a SWOT analysis. I have also learnt how to build a database, analyze and improve commercial websites, and produce other marketing tools like promotional literature, email,
telemarketing campaigns, and computer presentations. I applied these skills
during an internship of prospecting and sales within the Mercedes-Benz company
in Denney (France).
Besides my school skills, I am well-organized, focused and sociable I enjoy challenging tasks and
team work. Having carried out two previous internships, I would not find it difficult
to adapt to a new environment I also look forward to using the English language
to work. Working for your company would be an enriching experience and I would
appreciate being able to develop my skills within your organization.
